Point-to-Point is the simplest way, offering the highest performance. Two 3Com bridges using sector-panel directional antennas form a direct wireless association between the wired LANs in two buildings located up to 15 miles apart. Point-to-Multipoint allows communication between more than two buildings. Any WI-FI access point equipped with an omnidirectional antenna provides wireless association among the wired LANs in several buildings through 3Com bridges using sector-panel directional antennas. |
