| Extension Cables are used in addition to the cable, which comes standard with each BreezeCOM antenna. Extensions may be needed when the standard cable length is less than the distance between the BreezeNET bridge and the antenna mounting site. When planning long-range links, it is especially important to take antenna cable length into account before establishing installation sites for the bridges and the antennas. Whenever extension cable is used, there will be additional loss of gain and therefore loss of throughput; therefore, it is best to plan for the shortest cable lengths possible. |
