| The FaxPress 3500, a powerful and feature-rich member of the FaxPress product family, is available for either Ethernet or Token Ring networks and can support a few separate fax lines per unit. It uses 2 (or 3) Motorola microprocessors and is configured with high-speed Rockwell International 14.4Kbps fax modems. The FaxPress 3500 is equipped with plenty of memory and designed for high-speed fax rasterization at the server. The FaxPress 3500 can be connected to either a Novell NetWare or a Windows NT server.The FaxPress 3500 is ideally suited to application environments with abundant faxing needs that can completely utilize your fax modems. These units allow these lines to transmit simultaneously. In broadcast applications, 4 to 6 single page faxes can be transmitted in less than one minute. There is no need to wait for the documents to be converted from a PCL image to a fax image, since the FaxPress 3500 comes equipped with higher speed processors that can convert documents faster than four modems can transmit. |
