Description:

With full support for SNMP (MIB II), BOOTP, and net rebooting, JetStream enables you to manage serial connectivity within existing network administration systems. The JetStream6000 is an eight-port serial server expandable to sixteen ports via a plug in module (MTA). Ports can be supplied in a wide range of protocol/connector formats including RS232 DB25, RJ45, RS422, parallel, and surge protected. JetStream serial servers provide transparent access to UNIX servers, with full telnet/rlogin support, multi-sessions with hot-key control, and user-definable terminal definitions. Perle Trueport software enables applications to use JetStream ports as local device nodes. The JetStream6000 is ideal for most types of serial application including Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS), medical monitoring, banking and process control.
