What a hassle..., September 13, 2005
By E. Selman (Santo Domingo, DR)
I have not been able to use this nice looking device, as the installation has been impossible. The manufacturer included a link in the booklet, but it is not in service. Technology is supposed to make life easier, not harder.

Poor range, September 7, 2005
By Ted Wilson
I have a Windows wireless network, but have been using an Apple Airport Express to print wirelessly. Using the Apple, I was able to turn down the D-Link DI-624 wireless router to 12.5% and it still worked fine. The printer is about 60' away from my office.
Then I discovered iTunes and decided to use the Airport Express to play my stereo wirelessly from my computer - thus I needed a new print server. I bought the D-Link Airplus G DP-G321, but the range is so bad it only works about 20' away within direct sight of the wireless router (yes I turned the router back up to 100% power). I am returning it and suppose I will buy another Apple Airport Express.

Very limited printer compatibility, August 29, 2005
By PDX Wizard (Portland, OR USA)
After several hours of setup and configuration on this D-Link DP-G321 Wireless Multi-Port Print Server, I learn that it is useless for me. Finally I find an obscure "compatibile printers" list on D-Link's web support page. I am dumbfounded and very annoyed to discover that neither of my current printers are compatible with this product.
I reviewed the product's promotional info, and the info on the box, and find nothing there to indicate that only a very limited list of printers will work with it. Rather, there are broad statements like, "Share multiple printers on your network," and "Connect up to two USB pinters and one parallel printer."
This is false and misleading advertising. I've wasted hours of time on this, and am thoroughly disgusted with D-Link as a result.

Terrible range for 802.11b, July 25, 2005
By Hans Gilde (NYC, NY)
Ive not yet upgraded my access point to 802.11g, but I bought this device because it will be ready when I do. Unfortunately, it doesn't have nearly the range of my 802.11b devices on my existing network. My cable modem and access point are one room over from my computer, with a single plaster wall in between. My 802.11b network cards connect to the network with about 60% signal strength and 11 Mbps speed. This device doesn't even see the network at the same range. Totally sux.
