Works, but doesn't help much, February 16, 2005
By trying to help (CA)
This is a directional antenna. You must aim one of the flat side of the antenna toward the direction you wish to extend signal. It helped me just enough. Without this antenna, my wireless laptop would not connect at all in my living room. After installing this antenna, my wireless laptop connected but at the minimal speed. I'm thinking, the antenna added about 5 or 6 feet more of coverage.

No help., September 4, 2004

I have a big house and a wireless network. One of the computers is placed in a room that gets a weak signal. So, I purchased this antenna which seems to make no difference at all. In addition, the instructions are vague and unhelpful.
