| GigaFasts WF712-AP is an 802.11b compliant 11 Mbps wireless access point . Once installed, the WF712-AP has a range of up to 300-feet outdoors and 100-feet indoors . Operating at the 2.4 GHz frequency range using DSSS , this GigaFast wireless access point is able to provide bridging and roaming capabilities to any other wireless connections. This WF712-AP is complete with WEP encryption, user authentication, and MAC address control to ensure the security of the wireless network connections. In addition to the security features, this WF712-AP can also forward IP addresses from a DHCP server to wireless users, creating a fully plug and play wireless environment. Included with the WF712-AP is advanced access point manager software that can be easily installed to give you complete control over your network. |
