    Bad drivers, November 17, 2007
By A. Kashyap
I tried to install this one and it simple went bust - I think I heard a kaput sound too.
XP has terrible bluetooth drivers and if you want to get the speaker profile to work, good luck. The supplied drivers claim that this works, but you will have to do go through a lot of pain to get it right - and I am no newbie to technology.

does not work with Vista, October 29, 2007
By Colts Fan (Indianapolis)
It does not work with Vista and I have not had time to call for help.

Unusable with Plantronics Pulsar 590E, August 15, 2007
By D. Galler
Although I could connect to the headset, the audio would only work for a few minutes until it went silent, where I'd then have to stop/start the Linksys adapter and reconnect. After trying to upgrade the Bluetooth software, My Bluetooth Places stopped working and the problem remained. Buy the Anycom adapter instead of Linksys. Although Anycom uses the same Bluetooth stack, installation is cleaner, range is better, and the audio is clear.

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!, June 19, 2007
By James (USA)
When I first bought this product it was great and worked well then after 2 weeks of use the antenna connected to the device breaks off and did not work. When I called Linksys about the problem they called it and I quote "The device must have been put under unusual conditions." They also refused to give my money back. Well in the trash it goes!

    No problems, June 8, 2007

The adapter works well. I use it for gaming with a motorola headset & vent - no issues. Plug and play usb keeps everything simple.

    Works Great, April 12, 2007

I have several computers in my home and one is rather old. This USB plug and play device gave one of my older computers bluetooth capability. Just what I needed. Easy to install and use.

Plug it up, sync your devices and it works every time. We have it configured for used with a bluetooth speakerphone and have no complaints.

Linksys USBBT100 Bluetooth USB Adapter, March 23, 2007
By Bernard L. Beckel (Glenwood Springs, CO USA)
This was easy to setup on my Windows Vista laptop, it almost installed itself. The external antenna greatly improves the range allowing it to connect to my GPS at a much greater distance than my old Bluetooth adapter.

Another solid Linksys product, March 20, 2007
By RushRx (Taylorsville, UT United States)
Great bluetooth device. I purchased this to allow me to create and transfer ringtones to my T-Mobile Samsung SGH-T619 mobile phone. Not the easiest thing in the world to do since the T-Mobile software requires renaming the MP3 file to a 3GP file. Once you do that, though, it is a simple process and this device lets you do it in a snap. For T-Mobile users, download the Samsung Multimedia Manager from the Samsung website.

The Bluetooth Adapter installed easily on my Windows XP Professional system. I run it using a powered USB hub (also a Linksys). It has never dropped the signal. Many more features come with it than I have ever needed to used. Great range. Picks up my wife's cell phone upstairs as well.

I buy Linksys after having problem after problem with Netgear (routers and access points). Linksys has never let me down and their tech support has always been top notch. I see many reviews complaining about wait times. If you are looking for drive-thru speed service, you are too impatient to be doing your own setup. To quote from a very wise man (Hank Hill) "Do you want it done quick or do you want it done right." I have never had an excessive wait time on the phone with Linksys, but I have had them stay on the phone with me for over 45 minutes to make sure a problem got fixed properly. Now that is customer service!! No I do not work for them!!

Bottom line...Linksys is a quality brand and I have not bought a bad product from them yet. I also recommend them to colleagues and none of them have purchased a bad product.

Linksys USBBT100 Bluetooth USB Adapter, March 10, 2007
By Charles D. Harrell (Moss Point, Ms.)
Worked good but did not have any further range than the previous one I had with the built in antenna. I would have kept my old one if I knew this.

Not too clear on how to set up this device with my cell phone. Not very good instructions

    great product!, February 19, 2007
By J. Peterson (San Jose, CA)
I tried to set up Bluetooth on my computer with another product and it was difficult and didn't work. I read reviews and then ordered this adapter. THe Linksys was easy to install and works great! I have been using it regularly with my Palm Pda & occasionally with my Nokia phone.

    Surprizingly better!, February 12, 2007

At this point I have had many blue tooth devices some of which have been very frustrating in both a successful installation and use.
This one however is working flawlessly now for a couple of weeks!

Better than $22 dlink dongle... Good Purchase - Linksys Bluetooth, February 8, 2007
By M. Reaves (Brielle, NJ USA)
Took the bait and bought a $22 Dlink Bluetooth dongle and found installing it was not straightforward and then it did not recognize my units. Linksys is probably the same parts but they make it so it works!
Costs about $49 but you get free tech suport and it is worth it.

    must have, February 6, 2007
By Parth Bhavsar
Amazing range. Though expesive, its worth it... unlike other bluetooth, it has clearly the range that is printed on the box.

Bought IO gear headphone, with bluetooth,.. but didnot find the range that I needed,.. This linksys bluetooth is working better than the original IO gear bluetooth...

This USB adapter works extremely well and has a great range with my laptop computer!

    This product is Mac-Compatible, December 25, 2006
By Adam Boettiger (Portland, OR United States)
After buying many USB bluetooth dongles and subsequently returning them to the store, this product was one of the best buys I've made. For those wondering, this item IS compatible with the new MacBook and MacBook pro line. While it only includes software/drivers for the PC, the product is truly plug n play for Mac users. Just plug it in, configure bluetooth in System Prefs on your machine and you're ready to go.

    Delicate parts, November 29, 2006
By C. Bogart (Apex, NC United States)
This item worked as described and I am pleased with having blue tooth on the desktop computer. The one part I did not like about this is the poor antenna design. Be careful using it and storing it as it can get broken easily.

Cell Phone Hook Up, November 5, 2006
