Only one ISDN line and one Internet account for the entire network.It features: "Same-Time" shared Internet access solutions for new and existing networks, only one ISDN telephone line and one Internet account for high speed Internet access, two B channels with up to 64 Kbps capacity on each for a combined 128 Kbps, one D channel with 16 Kbps capacity to manage ISDN services. It supports IETF PPP(RFC 1661) and IETF Multilink PPP(RFC1990) protocols. This product operates with popular Winsock compliant programs including NetScape Navigator, Microsoft Explorer, Eudora, etc. It supports common public assigned IP address and dial-out capabilities and automatic mapping from individual workstations to common public IP. This model has automatic re-dial on busy signals. It transparently supports password authentication CHAP and PAP. This product acts as a non-caching IP proxy server and supports HTTP, FTP, DNS, Telnet, POP3, SMTP, RealAudio, etc. Port lists can be modified to meet individual needs. Configuration programs can be run from any connected workstation running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows NT. The configuration program allows you to configure: Internet Access settings, port lists, Telephone numbers, SPIDs and switch types. The status utility program gives status information on the unit and its software. Firewall-like security is built-in and ensures network security. Workstations are configured with individual TCP/IP stacks. This model supports flash upgrades. |
