A component of the RoamAbout Switch System, the RoamAbout RBT-8100 supports up to 24 managed access points simultaneously and has an integrated 10/100 Ethernet port and one Gigabit Ethernet port for connectivity to the network and to the access points.The RBT-8100 performs Layer 2 forwarding and comes with extensive Layer 3-4 filtering and identity-tracking capabilities. It integrates seamlessly with wired infrastructures and offers redundant load-sharing links, 802.1Q trunking, spanning tree and per-VLAN spanning tree (PVST+). It also supports IGMP snooping, which is vital to support IP multicast streams. Quality of Service is done with Layer 3-4 application information on a per-user or per-group basis and can use IP DiffServ code points.This product includes 24 Access Point User License.
