It reduces installation cost, as a dedicated power outlet is not necessary to be near where the Access Point/Bridge is installed. It is convenient, simple, and easy to install. The SMCPOE-KIT is perfect for use with SMC2455W EZ Connect Turbo Wireless Access Point and SMC2482W EZ Connect Turbo Wireless Bridge. The SMCPOE-KIT is designed for use with SMC2455W and SMC2482W only. The use of the Power over Ethernet Kit with Ethernet-ready devices may cause damage to the devices. |
